The Orient Polaris is a dual time, GMT watch that gives you the ability to track two different time zones. Along with the 12-hour hands and dial markers, the chapter ring is a 24-hour scale. A one by one adjustable hand (with lumed tip) tracks the second time zone in GMT or military time. The Orient caliber 40P51 automatic movement is self-winding, and it may be hand wound and it has a hacking feature. A handy indicator at 12:00 shows you up to 40 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Date is at the 3:00 position on the dial. With your go back and forth plans already made, it can be crucial not to put out of your mind that a reliable timepiece is a go back and forth essential. The Polaris GMT is an elevated executive-styled watch packed with exquisite features. Unlike the Adventurer World Time watch, the Polaris GMT only displays two sets of times at once. How? It has a fourth GMT hand that can be set independently from the time. You will be unable to miss it: it’s long and curved nearly like an arrow. Once set, the hand will move forward as time elapses, tracking the second time zone with ease. The dial of the watch has All of the embellishments that you’d find on a classic timepiece. All of the stainless steel accents are mirror polished, and contrast beautifully with the guilloche and concentric grained textures on the dial. This is what Orient does best: creating a watch that may appear simple to the naked eye, but highly detailed at a closer glance. The crystal is a scratch resistant sapphire, which will help the watch look brand new every time you wear it. The Polaris is a modestly sized watch at 42mm. The qualities of the case reflect the same opulence as the dial, with smooth edges and a polished surface. The watch is powered by Orient’s caliber 40P51 movement, which is not only automatic, but can be hand wound, and will stop fully when the crown is pulled out, for greater time setting.
